At Mai Day Recruitment we aim to work to the highest standards possible, and to provide you the candidate with a first class recruitment service. With this in mind we do ask you to bear in mind that in order to do this we use a lot of time up during the day to liaise with clients, therefore if you are making an enquiry can you contact us in the early mornings or late afternoons, alternatively you can email the consultant who initially interviewed you. At Mai Day Recruitment Services we endeavor to provide you with the best possible service at all times. If you would like to make any comments, suggestions, raise a query or make a complaint about the service you have received, please contact us, our contact details are set out below. We will respond to your query within 14- 28 working days.

This policy will be kept up to date, to reflect changes in the nature and size of the business.  To ensure this, the policy and its effectiveness will be reviewed annually.

Courtesy
All recruitment consultants will be trained in customer service standards; will exhibit customer friendly service skills; and be knowledgeable, professional and courteous in meeting the needs of our customers.

Communication
We Mai Day Recruitment Services will return all phone calls and emails received from clients and registered candidates and applications in respect of specific vacancies within agreed timescales.  Where we are unable to meet this agreement we will inform you of this as soon as possible and agree a new deadline. We always endeavour to meet prompt return calls or emails often however we are delayed by third parties in this instance we will try our up most to keep you advised.

Consistency
As part of our commitment to upholding professional standards, we will review our policies annually to ensure that they continue to meet business needs and the Recruitment and Employment Confederation’s Code of Professional Practice; and that they are consistently applied to all our customers.

Complaints
Mai Day Recruitment Services Ltd seeks fair, just and prompt solutions when possible to any complaints and appeals. All such issues should be directed to the Managing Director in the first instance, where they will be acknowledged and directed to the attention of the appropriate person. A complaints process is in place for any disputes; copies are available from our offices.

Access to Information
We comply fully with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998. Any personal or confidential information held by us about a client or work seeker is fully accessible to that person or body for review or editing by contacting the Managing Director, [or designated person.]

Candidate and Agency Commitment Policy

STATEMENT: Mai Day Recruitment Services Limited will provide permanent recruitment services for you and you authorise us to seek work on your behalf.

You also agree for Mai Day to forward on your CV / personal data to clients.

Please be aware it is your legal right to register with as many agencies as you see fit, however please also make it clear to any agency that you would you like to discuss any vacancies with them prior to them sending your CV at Mai Day you are guaranteed that we only send your CV to a vacancy after consulting you. We take great care in this respect and our business is built upon our high levels of service to both client and applicants alike.  Our clients rely on us providing an efficient service. Please make sure you provide us with all information regarding your working history and reasons for leaving.

  1. Mai Day Guarantees that we contact you about any vacancy we feel you are suitable for, your details are never sent to a client unless you have discussed the vacancy with a consultant.
  2. You are contacted by text message( if you have a mobile) when you receive the text please call the consultant as soon as possible as it is most likely about a vacancy or interview details. You can reply to the text message, or you can email or telephone the consultant.
  3. Please always notify us of a change in your circumstances, i.e. moving, extra experience or training, anything that will change your application.
  4. Please always provide us with referees, which in the case of permanent recruitment will only be contacted upon a written offer of employment from a client. Under no circumstances will we contact them otherwise. 
  5. In the case of Temporary work we must have 2 current references for you prior to you commencing any temporary work. A temporary pack will be forwarded to you by the controller giving you a complete insight into temping.
  6. At interview stage we will have requested you produce ID in the form of drivers licence, passport etc, if you were unable to produce this at the time  can you please fax over a copy to 08719116333 or send a copy via email to your consultant or local branch. This ID is attached to your records for our purpose only. At interview stage however we also recommend you bring ID with you especially driver’s licence if applicable to the role. 
  7. Qualifications, you would also have been asked about your qualifications again please forward copies of any relevant qualifications you may have, in particular NVQ, City & Guilds, or Training Passport i.e. with Ford you will have a pin number all of this is vital to your application and will enhance your employment opportunities. 
  8.
